대지는 멀리 바다를 바라보는 언덕 가장 높은 곳에 위치한, 산과 바다, 하늘이 만나는 아름다운 장소였다.대지가 지닌 고유한 모습은 이 장소를 사용하게 될 사람들에게 전달되어야 할 가장 중요한 요소였으며, 건축은 이를 기반으로 대지의 가치를 더욱 강화하는 역할을 하고자 하였다. 지형과 경관을 면밀히 분석하며 대지의 중요한 레벨들을 설정하였고, 이 레벨들을 연결함으로써 수직적인 차이는 공간이 되고, 수평적인 차이는 길이 되어, 땅과 경관을 체험하는 장소로 기능하도록 하였다. 건축이 땅을 다루고 변화시키기보다는, 땅이 건축을 지배하고 변화시키도록 유도하였으며, 그 연결의 마지막 지점인 가장 낮은 본래의 지면에서는 이 대지가 지니고 있던 자연 그대로의 모습과 식생이 유지될 수 있도록 계획하였다.

대지와 자연이 주제가 되는 장소성을 드러내기 위해, 레벨을 연결하는 과정을 통해 건축을 감싸는 외부 산책로를 조성하였고, 자연스러운 공간과 아름다운 경관을 최대한 잘 드러내기 위해 플랫 슬라브로 만들어진, 골조 전체를 내부 공간에 그대로 드러내었고, 조명을 포함한 모든 설비를 골조에 매립시켰다. 또한 땅의 움직임과 멀리 펼쳐진 바다를 향해 시선과 공간을 확장 시키기 위해 복합구조(철근콘크리트 + 철골조)를 적용해 구축의 요소를 최소화하여 최대한의 개방감을 만들었다

또한, 대지의 흐름과 멀리 펼쳐진 바다를 향한 시선과 공간의 확장을 위해 철근콘크리트와 철골을 병용한 복합구조를 적용하였으며, 이를 통해 건축적 구축의 요소를 최소화하고 최대한의 개방감을 확보하고자 하였다. 레벨을 연결하는 길들은 산책로로 활용되며, 자연스럽게 지형과 만남으로써 땅을 체험하는 공간이 되고, 전면의 원형 외부 공간으로 이어진다. 이 공간은 바다와 건축, 산 사이에 위치하며, 아이들의 놀이터, 버스킹 공연장, 야외 결혼식장 등 다양한 용도로 활용될 수 있도록 계획되었다.
 
 
The site is located at the highest point of a hillside overlooking the distant sea — a remarkable landscape where mountains, ocean, and sky converge into a single horizon. The intrinsic character of this place was considered the most essential experience to be conveyed to its occupants, and the architecture was conceived not to compete with the site, but to reinforce and heighten its inherent value.

Through a careful analysis of the topography and surrounding landscape, a series of primary ground levels were established across the site. By connecting these levels, vertical differences were transformed into spaces, while horizontal transitions became pathways that guide movement through the terrain and frame the surrounding scenery. In this way, the architecture becomes an instrument for experiencing the land itself.

Rather than imposing form upon the site, the project allows the land to shape and define the architecture. At the final point of connection — the lowest and most untouched level of the site — the original ground condition and native vegetation are preserved, allowing the natural state of the landscape to remain intact.
