Commissioned by a Korean fashion brand to design both the spatial concept for their FW collection and the scenography for their fashion show, we proposed an architectural intervention rooted in the materiality of Hanji (traditional Korean paper), selected for its unique texture and profound sense of depth. To transcend its inherent fragility, we developed a specialized coating that enhanced its structural integrity while retaining its capacity to be precisely folded into self-supporting systems. Using pyramidal geometries and space frames as our foundational logic, we developed three distinct folding methodologies to maximize structural performance, allowing the design to scale through modular connectivity.

As these units aggregated, the overall morphology fluidly evolved. By strategically introducing intentional, custom-designed modules, we were able to guide the orientation and overarching form of the installation. Ultimately, this deliberate weaving together of precise intention and generative, unexpected configurations gave rise to a captivating and deeply immersive spatial experience.
